After more than 40 years of leadership experiences I have come to discover that leaders require a constant diet of healthy leadership nourishment to adequately serve others. This nourishment comes from many sources that I have discovered over the years, which I plan to explore as part of this blog to help readers be best prepared to lead others successfully.

Our diet is what we habitually eat and drink, it can impact our physical and mental health and our behaviors towards others. Our leadership diet consists of our habitual leadership behaviors that can impact those that we lead. These leadership behaviors and habits will also be explored throughout this blog through my stories of leading others. I also plan to share some of my favorite readings, quotes or inspirational sayings and my reflections on those quotes.

Finally, much like the various food groups represented on a dietary food plate and pyramid diet graphics; a balanced diet of various personal and leadership behaviors are required for leaders to maintain a healthy approach to leadership. Methods and strategies to balance our leadership behaviors will be discussed throughout this blog.
